Photography Lessons—Julie Bird Photography

I teach the type of photography that I practice.  I create portraits of people (and sometimes their pets) in natural lighting.  I do not photograph newborns, weddings or events.  Listed below are the 5 classes I teach.  You can jump in to any part if you have experience, but photography is foundational.  You must know one building block before you move to the next.  You can also use these same principles in other types of photography.  I’ll help you decide where you need to start for your best results. Everyone learns at different paces so each lesson will be 2 hours in person, and we will move at your pace and work on the things you want to learn for your own photography journey.

**Photography is all about practice. The more time and effort you devote, the more quickly and dramatically you can improve.

**I shoot with a Canon 5d Mark Iv and a variety of lenses.  I am most familiar with Canon, but I have Nikon experience as well.  I prefer students to work with a dslr and a 50 mm (nifty fifty) lens.
